Alva Matte Lip Stain

I like the colour I got (perfect plum) and I also enjoy the formula but this is very much so a lip cream and definitely not a stain.

I would rate this as my favourite matte liquid lip formula. Sweet Peach shows up as nearly warm red on me and remains nearly transferproof once it dries down. Has a pleasant grape scent that dissipates once the lipstick dries down. The finish is soft matte, almost powdery but not textured at all. Remove with an oil based lip balm or cleanser. Recommended

Love the color and the packaging is beautiful

I was so happy when I received one of their lip products I was dying to try it.It’s not something I constantly reach for but I know that when I want to use it it’s a reliable formula.

I like these matte stains a lot, I just need lip balm before, I guess it depends on everyone's lips, because I saw some people review it as not drying. The colors are darker then in the pics, or perhaps in the picture it was applied differently. I thinks this formula needs a bit more effort to figure out how much to apply, to use applicator or a brush, lip balm and/or lip pencil etc. Still, I really like these colors, they seem to be flattering for most skin tones.

Very good lasting power and beautiful rich colors. True matte finish with a good applicator and the packaging is beautiful & high quality.
Only downside is that it tends to dry a little the lips (but with a bit of lipbalm applied previously there's no problem) and the color is darker in when applied.

I got the shades Apricot girl and Dry dates and i love them, they look good and has a soft matte finnish. That being said they tend to feel a bit drying, and the shade Dry dates can be a smidge patchy if you use to much

A nice deeper brick red, without getting into a brown or a berry shade.

A really great neutral shade, very soft and not dry or sticky.

This is such a beautiful formula - feels light on the lips, colors go on evenly and stay on. They layer well with other formulas and the stay like crazy! They are matte but don't make the lips dry. Please make more colors!!!
